I haven't posted any info on great tools yet, and I think that this is one that deserves mention as one of the most useful for Entrepreneurs who book a lot of meetings.  Tungle is a Montreal based company with a development center in Waterloo (Go Canada!) that allows you to take control of your calendar and meetings in a way that you never could before.

If you are like me, you book a lot of meetings and traditionally you might offer up several days and times to a client for a potential meeting.  The problem was always that if you offered Tuesday at 10am, Thursday at 1pm, and Friday at 9am to one client then you essentially had to block off all three times in your calendar so you didn't wind up double booking yourself.  Tungle solves this problem in a very unique (and powerful) way.

According to the Tungle web-site, here are some facts (that I can personally vouch for!):

• Professionals spend more time coordinating meetings than having them.
• Over 60% of meetings of professionals are with people outside their immediate company.
• Existing e-calendars only work within the confines of a single company, and do little to help professionals be more productive and connected.

Tungle currently syncs with Outlook (with or without Exchange), Google Calendar, Apple iCal and Entourage for Mac.  That means that pretty much everyone is covered quickly and easily by the service!

Here's how it works.

You visit the Tungle web-site and register yourself for an account (free!).  Then you select the calendar that you want to sync with.  If you are like me and you use Outlook that means downloading a small program (also free) that installs into your Outlook and provides a real-time sync of your calendar and addresss book data with the Tungle system as well as a new button for quickly scheduling meetings.  (If you use Google Apps and Firefox there is a plugin you can download that gives you the same easy access to Tungle from withing Google).

Once you have your sync set up - you're done!  You're ready to book meetings in a new and far more efficient way.
