The problem with planning is that many Entrepreneurs stop there. When asked for a recent copy of their business plan by which to measure their accomplishments most Entrepreneurs have to dig through old files to find some out of date document that doesn't really apply to their business anymore.
The first four stages of the process are only 20% of the path to success. The other 80% comes from execution of the plan. Key Consulting recognizes the importance of execution and works as a partner with our clients to monitor progress, act as an advisor when slight course adjustments need to be made, and provide input when outcomes are not as were expected.
While Key Consulting is much more heavily involved in terms of effort during the first four phases of the process, we typically remain closely engaged for some period after the start of execution to help manage the change management process, answer questions and concerns, and watch for initial signs if trouble which will normally turn up quite quickly (missed early milestones, unexpected market reaction, unexpected competitive pressures etc).
